Malay cuisine is very diversified. There are a lot of influence from China, India, Thailand and others. We had great experiences eating local food. Sometimes it can be spicy, sometimes sweet and sometimes both in the same food.
The seafood menu in Kuatan is very rich. You can find different types of fish, huge shrimps and crabs in any place you go.
Personally, I’m very surprised with the Indian food. If I could rate the restaurants I went so far, for sure the Indian’s one would be in the top of my list. The food is very tasty and they have great types of rice and fried chicken (Nasi Ayam).
The team has a deal of trying as many local foods as possible! It’s part of our CSC experience. Cultural immersion!
